Hi, Its a long story but basically I'm a psychic who believes that there is an undiscovered element of the laws of physics that will one day explain the phenomena I'm calling 'psychicness'. Over many years I've been told repeatedly that my readings are accurate, I won't insult the intelligence of the scientists by asserting this as the truth, as I have no proof beyond my own experiences, but I will point to the millions of people who believe in psychic phenomena, not as a body of evidence in itself, but as a large group of real people who do exist. Why are they as convinced as I am? (a big question)

My belief about 2012 is based on Mayan ways of interpreting periods of time; basically they regarded 'ages' (such as the suggested age of Aquarius) as changing over an extended period of about 150 years. Therefore their prediction about 2012 actually relates to the period from 1937 to 2087. I would respectfully suggest that any 'apocalyptic' changes during this predicted period are thought to be happening slowly. Yes calendars and exact dates have changed but there are strong reasons for 2012 being the pinpointed year.

I would further respectfully point out that the world banks are pretty well screwed and are printing money because they simply can't get it by conventional means, and that there is extreme weather much more often than has been the case in hundreds of years, to name but 2 of the 'facts'. In the case of the weather, yes there have been ice ages and stuff before, but if we have another ice age soon, wouldn't that be kind of apocalyptic? In the case of the world banks, yes there are proven reasons for their screwedness, but if the banking system continues to fall apart, wouldn't that be kind of apocalyptic?

Things keep happening that attest to the theory that massive change is underway at this time. This is very far from proving that God is about to smash the planet to pieces (!) but it fits the predictions for 2012.

Finally, I've been a spiritualist medium for years and I've never seen or heard anything I could prove scientifically. However, I've seen so many people moved by things I've told them which I personally could never have found out, that I believe completely in what comes to me from what I call Spirit. In this sense the paranormal will always evade science and there may be no point in trying to verify the Mayan predictions.

We'll just have to wait and see, because here's a 'rule of the game' I've found that guides most psychics including myself. No-one can predict the future. A strange thing for a psychic to say perhaps, but thats how its thought to work. We see possibilities, potential successes and failures, potential comforts and dangers. The free will of individuals is regarded as being the chief influence on the direction of their lives.
